Carol Boyle

Lanesville native Carol Boyle is a perfect example of someone living her childhood dream. Many years ago, she began her first job at Polly’s Freeze. Beginning in 2016, Carol purchased the iconic store with her husband and another couple. Since that time, her interest in Georgetown has become even more personal as she looks to continue the Polly’s tradition that has been such a large part of our community for over 70 years.

Aside from working at Polly’s for 36 consecutive seasons, Carol has a full time career with Louisville Metro Government. She and her husband Glen reside in New Albany.
